GearFlow

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026

This privacy policy explains how GearFlow handles and protects your information. GearFlow is a mobile app for managing events, gear, storage, transportation, checklists, and shared cloud events.

Information we collect

You may create events, warehouses, gear items, transportation records, checklists, notes, and shared event data in GearFlow. If you use a sign-in account, cloud workspaces, or subscription features, we may process basic account information such as your user ID and email address, as well as data required for cloud workspaces, member permissions, subscription status, and service usage records.

Local data storage

GearFlow uses a local database to save the data you enter on your device, so you can manage lists and records on the same device. Local events, gear lists, and notes generally remain on your device unless you choose to sign in, create a cloud event, join another user's cloud event, use sharing features, or provide data through device backups, sharing, screenshots, or other external tools.

Sign-in account

When you create or sign in to a GearFlow account, GearFlow uses an authentication service to identify your account. We may store your account identifier and email address for login, member display, cloud workspace permission management, and service security. We do not receive or store your plain-text password.

Cloud events and sharing

Subscribed users can create cloud events and invite other users to view or participate. Users without a subscription cannot create cloud events, but they may view another user's cloud event when invited or authorized. Cloud event names, gear items, storage records, transportation records, checklists, notes, member lists, permissions, and update records may be stored in cloud services to provide synchronization, sharing, and access control. Please avoid entering unnecessary sensitive personal information in shared events.

Subscriptions and payments

GearFlow subscriptions may be purchased through the App Store or Google Play, with RevenueCat used to validate and synchronize subscription entitlements. Payment information is handled by the store under its own policies, and GearFlow does not receive or store full credit card or payment account details. We may process an account identifier, email address, subscription status, product plan, expiration time, transaction identifier, and other necessary information to provide and restore subscription features.

Advertising services

GearFlow may use Google Mobile Ads to display advertisements. Google or its partners may process device identifiers, ad interactions, approximate location, or other data related to ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and measurement under their own service policies. You can manage personalized advertising preferences through your device settings or Google's ad settings.

Third-party services

GearFlow may use Supabase for account authentication, cloud storage, and synchronization; RevenueCat for subscription entitlements; the App Store or Google Play for purchases; and Google Mobile Ads for advertising. These services may process necessary data under their own policies.

Data deletion

You can delete individual local records in the app, or remove locally stored data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app through device settings. Users with the required permissions can delete cloud data or remove members in the app. You can also permanently delete your account from the Account page by selecting “Delete account”; if you own cloud workspaces, you must transfer or delete them first. See the account and data deletion instructions for the full effects and an alternative request method. Device backups and data retained by third-party services must be managed separately with those services.

Children's privacy

GearFlow is not specifically designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we may have handled a child's personal information, please contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when features, legal requirements, or services change. The updated policy becomes effective when posted on this page, and the last updated date will be revised.
